What is employment law? Well a few years ago I was asking myself that very question and now look at me. After completing my CIPD and kicking off my career in Human Resources, I began to focus my attention on the specialist area of employment law and it wasn’t until I joined my current employment law firm that I realised what a crucial area this was for organisations.
So my advice is this, employer organisations beware! Without the correct policies and procedures in place you are likely to get stung by heavy claims and an unhappy employee, employer relationships – not the best thing to build a successful business around!
