The financial consequences of non-compliance with current UK employment
laws are very serious for employers. The main employer exposures include
redundancy, discrimination on the grounds of race, disability and sex,
unfair dismissal and constructive dismissal. Compensation for unfair
dismissal or discrimination can run into tens of thousands of pounds so
resolving disputes before tribunals is highly recommended.
As part of our services, Clients can opt to take out a policy to complement our highly successful Employment Tribunal Defence Scheme. This will cover all of your legal costs as well as any costs awarded by an employment tribunal providing you fully follow our advice in relation to a claim from one of your employees i.e. in relation to unfair dismissal, discriminations claims etc. (subject to the adherence of the terms and conditions of our insurance policy).
